I got a lovely e-mail from the Paediatrics department at the Red Cross Hospital this morning, so I thought I’d share the photos they sent of the kids getting the Christmas presents HIS families donated to the kids who were in hospital over Christmas.

Thanks to everyone who donated. That’s what Christmas is all about and I’m proud of what HIS did this year!I’ll copy the e-mail at the bottom of the photos.

　いつもお世話になり、感謝いたしております。
　昨年の暮には、当院小児科病棟入院の子どもたちのために、たくさんの素敵なクリスマスプレゼントをご寄贈いただき、誠にありがとうございました。
　クリスマスパーティーでは、看護師扮するサンタクロース、及びイギリスの学生ボランティア扮するサンタクロースから子どもたちに手渡しで配布させていただきました。
　子どもたちは、満面の微笑を浮かべながら喜び受け取っていました。
　当日、体調が良好だった子どもたちだけの写真ですが、送信させていただきましたのでご覧ください。
　なお、写真を機関紙等に掲載される場合は、個人情報保護の観点から、目を隠す等、本人と特定できないような対処をお願いいたします。
　また、写真のお届けが大変遅くなりましたことを、心よりお詫びいたします。

A great time was had by all at the family skating night on Friday. Thanks to all who came, brought snacks and took to the ice.

Special thanks to Justin, who took over the official photographer role for the evening, even though he couldn’t join us on the rink!
