HIS is a non-proprietary school authorized by the Japanese government to operate as a non-profit tax-exempt organization. A Board of Trustees has ultimate legal and fiduciary approval and operates under the Act of Endowment. Drawn from the Board of Trustees are members of the Board of Directors who provide closer supervision of school operations.
