Employment at HIS

Hiroshima International School only employs qualified teachers with at least two years of experience in a bona fide school. 'Qualified' will normally mean having undertaken a course of initial teacher training of at least one year duration and which qualifies you to teach in the position applied for in your national system. Experience of the IB programmes is preferred. Applications are welcome from teachers of all nationalities and cultures, but absolute fluency in English is essential.

Vacancy - Teacher of Physical Education

HIS requires a part-time teacher of Physical Education (PE) to start in August 2013: the position will initially involve working 3 days a week teaching PE from EC3 to Grade 10. Teachers with experience and/or qualification in this area of teaching should contact the school's Principal, Mark Exton, at mexton@hiroshima-is.ac.jp in the first instance, including a brief resume and letter of application.
