1. Principal’s Message

Congratulations to all of our Grade 10 students who did such great work on their Personal Project, the culminating task of their Middle Years Program. You will see some images in today’s video. They presented to the students during the day and parents this afternoon, so they did a lot of talking. Thank you for sharing your wonderful presentations. Also, thank you again to all of the PTA for the great International Festival last weekend. It was a very enjoyable day and an excellent opportunity to bring the community together. I hope you all enjoy the warm weather over the weekend.

Kind regards

Damian Rentoule (Principal)

3. Secondary Student Led Conferences

This year, Secondary Student Led Conferences will take a new format. Students will present electronic portfolios to parents at home during the week of 21-28 May. There will not be a separate school day for student-led conferences. Over the next month, students will be preparing their e-portfolios to share with parents after 21 May. Parents and students will complete a reflection based on the student’s e-portfolio and conference.
This week in Secondary Assembly, students were introduced to the new format, resources and timelines to construct their e-portfolio. They will receive guidance from teachers as well as class time to construct the portfolio. Please see the brief presentation for an overview of the new format and timeline. Your child can also show you the Google classroom set up to facilitate this process.

Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher if you have questions about SLCs.
