Principal’s Message

Dear HIS Families

We had a great week at school and it was wonderful to see many of our students after the period of distance learning. As we move back to our distance learning next week you will notice a few slight changes as teachers reflect and plan together to improve the learning experience. It has been quite new to us all, of course, and it is a good example of lifelong learning. The journey never stops for any of us.

For our TED Talk this week, I thought that this one may be a good one to think about during the distance learning period where our schedules tend to be more flexible and finding time for a family walk may be easier, especially with the beautiful weather we are having. Who knows where it will lead?

Kind regards

Damian Rentoule

Article in the Yomiuri Newspaper

A great article on HIS ran in the Yomiuri Newspaper recently and you can see an image below. I would like to thank Yomiuri reporter, Yasue Mitsunaga, who came in to talk to us about life at Hiroshima International School. We have some copies at school if you would like to read.
