Principal’s Message
Dear HIS Community
Thank you very much for a great year which presented many challenges to us as a school as well as to you all as families. I would like to express my appreciation for your resilience and positive mindsets during the uncertainty that we faced. Please take care and stay safe over the summer holidays and I look forward to seeing you all back after the break. There are a few more messages that I will be sending out next week so you haven’t heard the last of me. I hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather.
Regards
Damian Rentoule

A note regarding my book
Thank you to Kathryne who shared a very nice review of my book, Conversations for a Global Child. A couple of people have mentioned to me that they have ordered a copy, so thank you for that. There is a Japanese version and an English version and I wanted to mention something about the Japanese hard-copy version. I just received the hard copy of the Japanese version and there was a problem with the printing. It was printed from left to right instead of right to left. The error has been fixed now with the printer, but I just wanted to let you know that if anyone did order the Japanese hard copy version and it arrives with backwards pages, please let me know and I can replace it for you.
Also, I thought I would share digital proof copies of the book with you if you would like to read over the summer. If you do, I hope you enjoy it:
HIS Community Copy (English) – Conversations for a Global Child (This is the proof that was later formatted for printing.)
HIS Community Copy (Japanese) – Conversations for a Global Child (This is what the Kindle version looks like.)
