The Bonfire 🔥 night was a fantastic event. The PTA did an incredible job organizing all. We especially appreciated the moms cooking in the kitchen, the parking detail, the Crane Club babysitting, the teachers helping with set-up and clean-up, Mr. Barker for keeping the tradition alive and building the fire! What an incredible week at HIS! Our 5th graders captivated us with an amazing assembly on Ancient Life. It was truly inspiring! Our ECKG and Grade 1/2 parents enjoyed a wonderful coffee morning, thanks to the efforts of Ms. K and Mayaso-sensei. A special shout-out to our Secondary students who successfully conquered camp without their phones! (Well, mostly!) They cooked, cleaned, set up tents, hiked, played games, and even conquered the Forest Adventure! It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved. We couldn't have done it without the dedication of our Secondary Teachers. Thank you to the PTA for boiling eggs and providing extra snacks. Students' art works on display at Kurakake Community Center If you have time, be sure to check out the student art exhibition at Kurakake Community Center. This small but impressive show features artwork and exhibition products from last year's G5 class, as well as works from G7, 8, 9, and 10. The exhibition will be open until October 31st.
