As the weather across Hiroshima cools reminding us that winter will soon put its ‘bite’ on our activities, HIS continues to roll on.
The PTA Wolfpack started the week off with an amazing German style Hot Lunch. Later in the week, they decked the halls with plenty of holiday cheer and decorations.
The FAME cast and crew continued to refine the big show with run-throughs and practices. They are now less than two weeks away from the performance. They sound wonderful.
Congratulations to Yoko-sensei for leading our 1000 CRANE Club at the Hiroshima International Festival last weekend. Their continued efforts are incredibly appreciated.
The HIS Hoodie orders are now complete and will begin production soon. Thank you for supporting the exciting new designs.
We are looking forward to seeing you at HIS sometime soon for one of our many coming events.

Thank you to everyone who helped with Hot Lunch and decorating the school last week!

For every $1 you spend on Book Club, our school will earn 20¢ in Scholastic Rewards.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the school as these will be used to add books to the library.

This THURSDAY, NOV. 30, G11 will be baking Double Chocolate Chip muffins. If you are interested in helping the students bake on Thursday from 9:00 – 14:00 please reach out to Lindsae or email us at pta@hiroshima-is.ac.jp
Friday, Dec. 1, we will be selling the Double Chocolate Chip muffins for 100 ¥ each.
Remember we are asking families to donate snacks and treats for the students. The treats will be given out at the assembly on Dec. 15. We will have a box in the Genkan from Nov. 20 through Dec. 12 for the donations. Please, no snacks or treats with nuts due to allergies of students.
Wolfpack Parent Lunch at the Hilton Dec 13. This lunch is to celebrate your incredible support of HIS events and our wonderful students. Please join us for lunch!
The Hilton is offering this lunch for 3200 Yen per person. If you will attend, please simply reply to this e-mail (to Makkie-san in the HIS Office) with your intention to attend. The due date for your response is Friday, December 1.
